Turning out with South Korea’s Busan IPark last season, the left footer also featured in 36 matches for Czech first tier side FK Mlada Boleslav.

The 6 ft 3 centre back, featured in 3 matches for the Olyroos under Milicic’s guidance in 2018, before earning his first senior call up to the Socceroos under Bert Van Marwijk in a friendly against Norway.

Macarthur FC Head Coach Ante Milicic praised the left footers commitment to his trade.

“Alek impressed me greatly with his commitment and professionalism he displayed during the Olyroos AFC u/23 Championship campaign in 2018.

“At only 24, Alek has gained plenty of experience and opportunities playing across many leagues in Europe and Asia. I’m looking forward to seeing Alek continue to develop his skillset and reach his full potential with the Bulls in the A-League.” Milicic added.

Susnjar, was excited about the opportunity to join Milicic at Macarthur FC.

“I really enjoyed my time with Ante in the Olyroos in 2018.  To be given an opportunity by Ante to learn from him again, was something that I was immediately excited about.

“To be part of the inaugural squad for a A-League new club, is an opportunity that rarely happens in your career. No doubt we have plenty of hard work ahead, but it’s a challenge I’m looking forward to.” Susnjar said.
