Macarthur FC are thrilled to unveil our inaugural home and away jersey for the 2020/21 season.
The clubs playing strip was designed in Italy with consultation from club apparel partner Macron.
The predominantly white home shirt features a touch of black and ochre around the collar and sleeves.
An embossed bull head features on the front lower third of the jersey. This bulls head symbolises the rich history of the region, when a herd of cattle escaped Sydney cove and found a home in the green pastures of the area.
The inaugural club jersey also features a synthetic rubber patch that Macron have designed and moulded into the club crest and signature colours black, white, and ochre, that will be emblazoned atop of each jersey.
The back-neck of the shirt features the club’s emblem surrounded by black and white bars, further paying homage to the colours synonymous with sport in the area.
Macarthur FC Chairman, Gino Marra, was excited to see the release of the club’s inaugural jersey.
“We are thrilled with the design of the club’s inaugural playing strip.
“Macron have a strong reputation of high-quality apparel and designs, and I believe this jersey will be forever remembered in the club’s history.” Marra said.
“It was important for the club to strike a balance of honouring the rich history of the region, while at the same time resonating with the passionate fans we have.” Marra added.
Macarthur FC supporters can pre-order the 2020/21 inaugural home and away shirts now via the Macarthur FC Online Store. Members will also receive a 10% discount off the purchase of their jersey (members will receive an email with discount details). Supporters will be able to collect their jersey from the Macarthur FC Experience Store at Macarthur Square when it opens in December 2020.
