Macarthur FC announce players for debut NIVEA Men E-League Season

Macarthur FC are excited to unveil their debut representatives for their inaugural 2021 NIVEA Men E-League campaign.

Jason Giannos (GreekFreak) & Ben Carter (Ben_Cart) will represent the Bulls in the latest season of the NIVEA Men E-League, set to take place next weekend.

With both players ranked inside the top 20 in the Oceania region the Bulls presents as a formidable team in the 2021 competition.

Xbox representative Ben Carter (Ben_Cart), was crowned the winner of the Macarthur FC Community FIFA21 Tournament in July last year and is currently ranked 18th in the Oceania region for FIFA.

PlayStation representative Jason Giannos (GreekFreak), currently ranked 3rd in the Oceania region, will bring plenty of big tournament experience to the E-League newcomers, having previously qualified for the FIFAe Club World Cup Oceania finals.

Macarthur FC Community FIFA21 Tournament winner, Ben Carter said he is excited to represent the Bulls in the upcoming tournament.

“To be given the opportunity to represent Macarthur FC in the NIVEA Men E-League competition is a great thrill and something I’m really looking forward too.”

“There are plenty of quality players in this year’s tournament and every match will be difficult.”

“No doubt just like in the A-League, the derbies with reigning champions Sydney FC and Wanderers will be tight encounters.” Carter said.

Jason Giannos said he was thrilled to sign with the Bulls for their debut into the E-League competition.

“To be one of the inaugural players for Macarthur in the E-League is something I’m proud and excited about.”

“Our sport is growing at a rapid rate and this is an exciting opportunity for myself to represent the leagues newest team.” Giannos said.

Key Points

  • Each of the 12 A-League Clubs will have two representative competitors (1 x PlayStation®4 and 1 x Xbox One)
  • Each club will play against every other club once over 11 Rounds (two event days)
  • Points during the regular season will be calculated based on the aggregate results over the two console legs (PlayStation®4 + Xbox One) for the points table to determine the E-League 2021 Premiers.
  • Individual console results will then be used to determine the console champions.
  • Each console champion will receive a place at the EA SPORTS FIFA21 Oceania Regional Playoff (PlayStation®4 only event).
