Macarthur FC Lock In Italian Sportwear Giant Macron with Long-term Apparel and Retail Partnership Deal

Macarthur FC are delighted to announce a long term partnership with global sportswear brand Macron, as the clubs inaugural season apparel partner.

The five-year agreement will see the Italian brand supply the home and away strips including training apparel for both players and club staff. 

The partnership sees Macron deeply align with the clubs broader retail strategy and will provide fresh and exciting retail opportunities for Macarthur FC Members and fans. Macron will support the club’s multiple retail channels and will supply a broad range of performance and leisurewear products, some of which will be new to the Australian market. This will also benefit our local partner clubs and schools greatly.

Founded in Bologna back in 1971, Macron began in the production of baseball equipment but moved into professional football in 2001 with the first sponsorship of a top tier club in their home city – linking up with Serie A side Bologna and partnering with the club to the present day.  A global leader within the industry, Macron are continuing to strengthen their reputation as a major player in the technical sportswear market having recently risen to third place in the UEFA technical sponsorship rankings.

In Europe, Macron’s portfolio of clubs includes the likes of Nottingham Forest, Stoke City, Millwall, Lazio, Bologna, Verona, Hibernian, Dundee United, Sporting Lisbon, Vitoria Guimaraes, Club Brugge, Real Sociedad, Red Star Belgrade, Nice, Hajduk Split, PAOK Salonika, Lech Poznan to name a few

Macarthur FC Head Coach, Ante Milicic, welcomed the partnership with Macron.

“Providing our players and of course our fans with high quality and affordable merchandise is extremely important for our club” Milicic added.

Macron’s Australia’s Country Manager Andrea Palilla commented: “We are looking forward to partnering with Macarthur Football Club in what will be a great opportunity to support the A-League newest club in the strategic plan to consolidate Macron as major player in the Australian market.
