Macarthur FC head coach Ante Milicic has named a virtually unchanged playing squad for tomorrow night’s encounter with Western United at MARS Stadium.
The Bulls will be looking to build on their recent good form following two wins from the past two starts including last Friday’s 4-nil thumping of Adelaide.
Macarthur FC coach Ante Milicic said after Tuesday night’s match he was delighted with the result but looked forward to returning home to Campbelltown to take on Adelaide.
“We have had a good week training, but we know we face a difficult opponent. Western United have a very strong squad that has been together for the past 2 years, so they are very familiar with their setup and playing style.
On last week’s match against Adelaide, Milicic said:
“It was pleasing the amount of composure throughout the opening 45 minutes against Adelaide, we created good attacking clear-cut chances, but the most pleasing thing was to keep the clean sheet.
On Matt Derbyshire’s hat-trick against the Reds, Milicic said:
“The work he does off the ball is just as important for us. service is everything for a #9, to be fair to Matty the quality service has not been there, but he stayed patient, positive and when the chances come to him you know there is a good chance, he will finish them.”
